New manufacturers/suppliers come into being each year. In peak seasons, they are more likely to be SPECULATORS who hire temporary workers and buy parts to assemble machines in unregulated family workshops. When the demand cools down, these speculators withdraw funds and invest in other hot projects. Tajima has always been on top of techology, as the competing Butterfly has been. However, no Tajima embroidery machines has built in lettering fonts like BUTTERFLY machines do. This is to say that the monogramming feature really puts BUTTERFLY embroidery machines at a level that other machines are not yet at.
BUTTERFYL embroidery machines are built using some of the same technologies and designs that Tajima has successfully used over the years. Many accessories and parts of the Tajima can also be used with the BUTTERFLY. The BUTTERFLY is capable of using most Tajima type hoops. Common parts, such as hooks and bobbins are inter-changeable bewteen the Tajima and BUTTERFLY.

We have over 4 reciprocators used on BUTTERFLY embroidery machines with different embroidery purposes. Machines with different features should have different parts to reach the best stitching performance. We do not produce “JUST OK” machines but something “BETTER”.

1.The main motor
The low-power main motor makes the machine quotation $600~$800 lower than the average, but it badly affects the machine stability and durability. Big noise and burning heat will come up in several months' running. We use more powerful motors so the BUTTERFLY machines are always running comfortably with little sound.
